About The Small Species Sanctuary

Lawrence Mayles | Senior Steward
The current owner, Lawrence Mayles purchased what is now known as the Small Species Sanctuary in 2004. Lawrence has been tending to the land for the last few years, ensuring that the land is a safe habitat for the deer, the birds, the salamanders and all small species that live in this area. Lawrence created this dream and it is his mission to see it through. You will have a hard time finding a more caring, compassionate and dedicated man.

Lance came aboard the project in 2008. He is helping Lawrence to articulate his vision with the use of various media technologies. Through the web, through print, through videos and whatever else we can use, we intend to let this dream be known so that it can be realized!
